What the Workshop includes

 

Lift your mid-winter spirits with this workshop, designed for complete beginners or those in need of a refresher after a long break. Its aim is to breathe confidence into even the most apprehensive sewists!

We’ll cover all the basics, including threading a sewing machine, selecting beginner-friendly fabrics, and understanding how to read a pattern. You’ll also get a chance to try out the overlocker and explore different methods for finishing seams.

With my guidance, you’ll independently create a beautifully finished, lined cosmetics bag with a zip closure, learning a variety of techniques you can apply to future projects.

Lunch and materials are included so you can just turn up, relax and focus on your projects. Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements when booking.

I’ve sourced a range of beautiful and sustainable fabrics for you to use so you are sure to leave with a bag that you will feel proud of and able to use.

This workshop is limited to 6 places so that I give you the attention that you need.
